Bitter Sweet Self

Bitter sweet self

They told me to make it a light work,
Dream job becoming my light bulb moments
Events passing like a moonlight flit,
Leaving me Stuck in a mess I did for " them"

My doubts are rising,
My passion is dying,
I'm left to grow as a "man"
Grades and numbers to judge me

I'm a happy soul outside,
A bitter dying creature in the inside,
I feel trapped in myself
I'm lost in the lane
My whole life a flight of fancy.

I've passed through the system
Managed through the 21st century routine ,
But still my certs reduce me to tears,
Wallowing in self pity
As they praise the person I've become for them"
And it seems diligence is a mother of bad fortune

The doc says I got cardiovascular,
Though I know it's the life I've been loaned to lone
All the success in a loop,
And getting money the only way to be successful.
I growl coz I did for them to be Happy
Make them success as the society tames.
How I wish I could make up for the wrongs I've done.
