Baby Samantha had to go
We paid our last respects
As to the dust we laid her to rest
A mind, young and kind drilled and riddled by your so called stray bullet
Stray? Perhaps you were carried away when you let it hit her on that day
Your deviant ways we thought you'd mend
But you're defiant cause now its a trend
My city is engulfed in war cries
Mornings interrupted by weeping, disgruntled groans and muffled moans
Pangs of pain and anguish as my very own languish
Yet still
A triumphant cheer jeers the victimized
The battering of clubs on human bones
Pattering of military boots on our lawns and skulls by extension
Fighting against humanity is only equalized to insanity and political retrogression
But why? The innocent pay a dear price yet they have no cent
They say home is where the heart lies
I rephrase
Home is where the hurt lie
Its only West life who taught me about a hole inside hearts
But you men in blue, waste lives riveting bullets in our hearts
I can't help but let tears freely flow
Partly owing to your gas canisters
That you violently hurl at us
Mainly cause of the crimson blood streams snaking the streets
In fleets you spill acid on us
I understood the term brutal
When I saw his lifeless body fall
When you ripped his skin apart to retrieve the lethal weapon
In a bid to conceal the evidence
Oh What pretence!
The law has not a long arm but a wrong one
The magnitude of the loss
Only the mother knows
They serve the earth our lives in cold blood
