#misunderstandings in relationships
It Was Not My Fault
Her heart became a stone,
Taking in feelings no more,
Parting ways was all she wanted,
Saying we couldn’t be in contact any more,
Being doubtful became her trait,
Hence inducing forward we couldn’t proceed.
She was the air I breathed,
Hence I couldn’t do without her,
Like any normal creature I needed some company,
Of friendship and more of intimacy.
However insecure she felt,
Claiming my heart wasn’t trustworthy,
Hence her visions clearly portrayed,
That her feelings were being played,
Though my heart was pure, blameless and tender.
Seeing me with them poked her,
Some of lifetime while others new,
Always giving a hand whenever in need,
Friends to be proud of indeed.
Her heart sank in deep thoughts,
As her mind concluded with a quick solution,
That their souls I had won,
Hence replacing her with them,
Therefore they were now mine,
Me and them forever we were to be,
She didn’t give a second thought.
They posted my pictures,
With them were nice friendship phrases.
It pierced her delicate heart,
But she never comprehended,
That they were just friends to keep,
And no chain of strings was attached.
I tried my best to make her come back to her senses,
In return she could laugh,
“ I’m not a kid Ritchie, “
Became her daily slogan.
Our affair had reached the omega,
Love between me and her to remain a story long foretold.
