My Wife's Sister

I married an orphan.
As nature depicts she has to take care of the siblings,
So we stay with the sister Jane .
It has been twenty seasons now since we started living with her

I have seen Jane evolve from a small little girl to a queen.
She is now a gorgeous and sagacious lady,
I won't tell you of her elegant figure,smooth baby face.
I have to admit she is more beautiful than my wife.
I have chased many young men who eye her,
But I think I'm almost falling into temptation.
Yeah temptation I avoided years back by taking her to a boarding school.

She is currently in the university,
And it's holiday season so she's at home.
I'm off duty today,my wife has gone to the usual chamas she goes to,
My kids are on a trip to the country side to bring my mama home for the holiday.
My Mama who is now aging faster than before.

I have never wanted it to happen,
But I was almost leaving the house when she called me.
She invited me to her room to check on her project she was undertaking.
I have to admit I started everything.
I barked up the wrong tree but I promised to cover up everything.

Last month she told me she was pregnant,
I suggested abortion which she resisted,rejected.
I'm confused and worried now
I had gone to pick my mama and kids today when she called ,
She said she gonna tell the truth today,

We were having dinner today,the extended family .
As it's a norm during the festive season
Jane stood and confessed Infront of everyone.
My wife laughed angrily, my kids too asking whether I'll marry her,my mama sobbed.
And I was about to stand when the door bell rang.
